NIWeek Experience Design

NIWeek is a National Instruments industry and technology conference that began 15 years ago. NIWeek has been called the “Woodstock of the engineering world.” OK. I didn’t call it that. But any scientist or engineer who has ever attended speaks about it in hushed tones of reverence.

This conference, which started out as a small, company meeting, has evolved to include 5,000 plus attendees from 20 different countries with a minimum of 50 editors and other press personnel from around the world.

My team was responsible for all aspects of the event branding. From the look and feel, to the 150 x 20 foot keynote stage screen presentation, the NI booth in the trade show floor, all photography and video.

Keynote room

The keynote room was designed to hold over 5,000 attendees. We designed the experience from start to finish. Videos, presentations, on screen graphics and branding. It is very fulfilling to watch your work on a 150 x 20 foot canvas.

Austin Convention Center

The Austin Convention center is where they hold NIWeek. The branding includes registration areas, way finding, external branding, the trade show floor and the keynote room.

Trade show floor

NIWeek has been called the largest Test and Measurement trade show in the industry. We just called it business as usual in August. With over 250 exhibitors, it is easy to get lost in the crowd, but keeping the NI brand front and center reminded the customers who was putting on the the show.
